Our Process
1. Initial Consultation & Estimate
We start with a conversation to understand your project's vision, scope and budget. Whether you provide plans or we measure your existing space, we'll gather all the necessary details to prepare an accurate estimate according to the information provided.
Unlike many shops, our estimates are fully comprehensive, covering everything from design fees to hardware installation and final touch-ups. The only items not included are the pulls & knobs themselves. We have a wide variety that can be viewed and purchased from our showroom.
2. Design, Showroom Visit & Proposal
Once the estimate is accepted, we’ll schedule a showroom meeting to go over all the details - cabinet layouts, elevations, wood species, finishes and hardware options. This meeting gives you the chance to see our craftsmanship in person and make confident design decisions.
Following the showroom meeting, we’ll provide detailed cabinet drawings along with an updated proposal reflecting any design or material selections made during that meeting. Once everything is finalized and approved, we’ll move forward to the contract stage.

3. Contract & Deposit
Once the updated proposal and cabinet drawings are approved, we’ll prepare a formal contract that clearly outlines the scope of work, payment schedule, and project timeline.
To reserve your place in our production schedule, a deposit is required. This allows us to secure materials, lock in your build slot, and begin preparing for the production phase. Once the contract is signed and the deposit is received, your project is officially scheduled.
4. Final Measurements & Shop Drawings
Once framing is complete, but before plumbing and electrical, we return to take final measurements. This allows us to confirm room dimensions and provide detailed drawings to ensure all plumbing and electrical rough-ins are placed exactly where they need to be for a seamless installation.
From these measurements, we produce detailed shop drawings for your review and sign-off before production begins.
5. Production & Finishing
With drawings approved, we begin crafting your cabinets in our shop. During this phase, we:
-
Cut and assemble each cabinet with precision
-
Apply your chosen finishes or paints
-
Complete quality checks to make sure everything meets our standards
We’ll keep you updated on progress throughout the build.
6. Delivery & Installation
When production is complete, we carefully deliver and install your cabinets. Our experienced team ensures everything is level, secure, and aligned to the approved plans. We coordinate with other trades on-site to keep the project moving smoothly.
7. Hardware & Final Touches
After installation, we install pulls, knobs, and any specialty features. We’ll also complete touch-ups and final adjustments to make sure everything looks and functions exactly as it should.
8. Final Walkthrough
We finish every job with a detailed walkthrough. Together, we inspect the cabinets, address any final adjustments, and make sure you’re 100% satisfied with the finished product. Our work isn’t complete until you’re proud to show it off.
9. Ongoing Support
We stand by our craftsmanship. If you have any questions or need minor adjustments after installation, we're just a call away.
